Rab

The island of Rab is located in the north of the Adriatic Sea as part of the Kvarner archipelago. There are 7 places on the island: Lopar, Barbat, Banjol, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije and Supetarska Draga, as well as Rab itself.
There are approximately 9,000 inhabitants living in Rab, which are engaged in tourism, agriculture, fisheries and cattle breeding. The locals have been organizing tourism for more than 110 years.

The protector of the island of Rab is St. Christopher, who, according to ancient legends, has saved the island several times by conquering its wonderful powers and is still celebrating his day today. The island is also known for its Rapska fjera, which is visited every year by tens of thousands of tourists. During your stay in Rab, you can also see the performance of Rapske self-builders who have renewed the tradition of shooting the monastery, to the joy of guests and islands. Lopar

Lopar is a tourist resort on the island of Rab, 12 km away from the old town of Rab. Lopar can be reached by ferry lines Jablanac-Mišnjak and Valbiska-Lopar.
